Water Conditions: ??Good to Great! It's still a bit chilly up there, so there aren't many big bugs hatching yet, but the hungry trout are actively feeding on midge patterns suspended under an indicator. Look for the flying ants to start hatching very soon, providing some great terrestrial dry fly fishing!

Fishing Conditions & Hatches: ??We love to visit this high mountain gem! Damsels, Dragons, Midges, Caddis, Callibaetis, and terrestrials (ants/beetles) all can provide action! Expect callibaetis nymphs and midge pupa to be most productive here.

Flies: ??Midge Pupa * Damsel Nymphs and Spent adults* Callibaetis nymphs, emergers, and adults * #14 EHC * Leeches and buggers!!!! * Profile BWO Spinner 18 * Flying Ants * Small PT Nymphs * Foam Beetles

The Fly Shop's Tips: ??As temperatures warm, look for good hatches of callibaetis mayflies and flying ants (actually, they're termites, but the fish don't care what we call them, they just like to eat them!)
