Water Conditions: Great Flows at 45cfs as of 5/25
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Good to Excellent. Back to the usual routine. MIdges early, followed by Caddis from about mid-morning on. Takes have been very subtle, so try and use the smallest and most sensative indicator you can use and try to shorten your drifts.
Recommended Flies:
DRIES: Parachute Caddis Grey #18, Elk Hair Caddis Tan #18, Mercer's Missing Link # 18, Stalcup Emerger Parachute Midge #22, Old School Caddis Emerger Olive #18-20, CDC Emerging Midge 22-24, Brook's Hot Creek Caddis #18-20
NYMPHS: Nori's Caddis Pupa Geen #18, Anderson's Bird of Prey Tan #20, Fox's Caddis Poopah Green #18, Copper Zebra Midge #20-22, Black Flashy WD-40 #22, #22 Furimsky's Epoxy Midge, San Juan Worm
STREAMERS: #12 Bead Head, Doc's Twin Lake Special Black

for Monday, May 28th, 2012Crowley Lake: Crowley is fishing great, nymphs and streamers are the ticket
Owens River: The water has cleared on the Upper Owens but the fishing is just fair
Owens River: The flows are perfect in the Gorge and the fishing is good
Owens River: Water Skiing would be better than fishing on the Lower Owens as the flows are too high
Bridgeport Reservoir: Fishing is great at Bridgeport, but the fish are spread out until the weeds come
East Walker River (CA): Fishing is still good on the East Walker as the flows have been consistent

Owens River: The bite is really good at the Owens River Gorge
Owens River: The weather and the fishing are both good on the Lower Owens
East Walker River (CA): Nymphing is best on the East Walker but there are occasional hatches
