"We caught just about everything you could want today," noted the report from Intrepid September 30. "There were nice sized Striped Marlin, Big Bull Dorado, Wahoo, Yellow fin Tuna, and Yellowtails all landed here today. We didn't catch many in the way of numbers though, it was scratch style fishing, but we stayed busy throughout the day with jig strikes. The weather and the water is very warm down here, in fact it is absolutely scorching hot! We will make a move north tonight and start there in the morning, still looking for the hot bite."
