Mike Keating brought his three-day anglers home to H&M Landing June 18 after a successful trip not far from San Diego.

Bill Jamison of Bakersfield won first place for his 36.8-pound bluefin. He said it came on a sardine, 2/0 Super Mutu hook, 40-pound Izorline on an Accurate 665 H reel and a Calstar 700 H rod.

Brian Hudson of Fountain Valley was second, for a 33.2-pounder, and his brother Will; also of Fountain Valley, won third place for a 28.4-pound albacore tuna.
