Scrappy little bluegill are still providing anglers with good action. Work shaded areas using small flies, jigs or mealworms. Catfish have been hitting on shrimp and stink baits. Hot dog slices are also a good bait choice.

The next NDOW catfish plant will take place in mid-August.
