The Lower Owens is good to go for Dry flies early & late

Water Conditions: Good the flows are at 300cfs as of 6/26....rumor has it the flows might stay at this level all summer.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Generally good to great still nothing really has changed except for the temps. Hot!! Of course early and late in the day for the dries. Nymph during the day. There are a variety of hatches early in the day.
Recommended Flies:
DRIES: upright organza rusty spinner, yellow sally, mini hot Garcia's, #16 baby boy hopper, chernobyls, #16 parachute adams, extended body bwo, #18 stimulators, #20 pearl butt trico spinner, #20 quill body spinner, Q's sparkle stacker bwo, trapped dun pmd, organza trico spinner, light cahill
NYMPH: #18 caddis candy , #18 two bit hooker, copper johns, bh prince nymphs, #20 trico may nymph, #20 sulphur nymph, #18 mighty may sloan, #18 beck's sulphur emerger, #16 caddistrophic, little brown bug,#16 fox's poopah, #16 nitro caddis, bird of prey, #18 micro stone
STREAMERS: Wounded Sculpin, Matuka, BH Carey Bugger, Crystal Bugger, BH Pop's Bugger
Guides Hint: Jaeger/Fish Stick(wading staff) is highly recommended.

for Friday, June 21st, 2013Mammoth Lakes Basin: Awesome fishng at Mammoth Basin Lakes
Hot Creek: Good fishing at Hot Creek, the winds will affect the fishing however
San Joaquin River: Depending on the time of day, dry fly fishing at San Joaquin can be "off the hook"
Crowley Lake: Fishing at Crowley can be mixed
Owens River: You want to fish the Upper Owens either in the AM or the early evening hours
Owens River: The dry fly fishing has been good at the Owens River Gorge
Pleasant Valley Reservoir: Because Pleasant Valley Reservoir is high the fish have moved to the stream
Rock Creek - Section 1: The fishing is very good at Rock Creek & in little lakes valley
Rush Creek: The best fishiong at Rush Creek is the wild trout section near the highway
Owens River: The Lower Owens fishing has been both good and slow at times
Bridgeport Reservoir: Bridgeport Reservoir is very low right now
East Walker River (CA): Finally the water level is up on the East Owens
