Last weekend, anglers reported fair to good fishing. As of Friday, the ice was deteriorating and there was some open water around the edges, mostly against the far bank. Recent high winds may have shredded the remaining ice. The roads are mostly dry. Calder has catch-and-release regulations. You must use flies and lures only -- bait is not allowed.
