On May 13, Tom Ogden fly fished toward the inlet on the west side from a kickboat in 10 to 18 feet of water. He caught four splake, four cutthroat and two rainbow trout on medium sinking line and a size 6 bead head olive leech. All of the fish were 12 to 15 inches long. On May 13, Millsite was stocked with 10,000 4-inch tiger trout. On May 5, conservation officer James Thomas said that anglers had been doing well using worms and a piece of marshmallow, floated up from the bottom.
