Anglers report good to fair fishing along the eastern shore. One angler caught a 10-pound catfish using a piece of chicken just off the bottom. Fish are still active at the surface of the water throughout the day. A few large carp were seen swimming in the vegetation near the inlet. Fingerling wipers were recently stocked, and with the right conditions they should be catchable by next spring.
