Anglers report good fishing for trout and bluegill. A father and his four-year-old son, Ryker, had a great time fishing the reservoir on Oct. 1. Ryker enjoyed trying to catch the bluegill that schooled near the shore by the dam. He would cast out and watch the bluegill move his bobber around as they picked at his salmon egg. Trout are jumping and surfacing, so you may want to use shallow gear (lightweight spinners, lures, flies or worms under a bobber close to the surface). Please respect this privately owned waterbody by picking up trash. And don't forget to obtain your Walk-in Access authorization number before visiting the reservoir.
