Small fish are schooling around the rocky areas adjacent to the dam. One angler reported slow fishing near the Causey Estates inlet. He fished for one hour using nightcrawlers and Power Eggs. He caught one 11-inch rainbow trout and had a bite from another fish he wasn't able to land. The water is very clear and visibility is excellent. Water levels are rather low. You can still carry a kayak or canoe to the water from the parking area, but it will be a long walk, especially when you're headed back to the car.
