Jorge Nicifore, the chef for Red Rooster III for some 30 years, has been getting treatment for some medical problems for many weeks. A fund for the very popular Jorge has been started on the boat's site, www.redrooster3.com, and dozens of anglers have helped out and also asked about how he's doing. ??Boat owner Linda Palm told Bill Roecker that Jorge is planning to meet the Rooster when the boat arrives after its first 14-day trip of the season, on October 28.
