Water clarity is good despite the severity of recent weather. Striper bite is solid. Limits of 18 to 22 inch stripers. Baitfishing with anchovies is best. Trollers pulling Rapalas or Rat-l-Traps 15 feet deep get the bass in Peninsula Cove. Trout bite has slowed. Limits are hard to come by but there are good numbers of 2 to 3 pound trout being caught. Boaters get trout from Howden Cove and Cowboy Cove. Best shore spot has been Oak Point. Nightcrawlers have been working better than dough baits. (925) 371-2628
