Oct. 12: Squaw Creek Reservoir north of Gerlach: 1,804 rainbows, 8.5 inches.

Oct. 12: Squaw Creek Reservoir north of Gerlach: 2,559 Bowcutts, 9.4 inches.

Oct. 23: Knott Creek Reservoir in Northern Humboldt County: 2,502 tiger trout, 8.4 inches.

Nov. 5: Squaw Creek Reservoir north of Gerlach: 2,501 rainbows, 9 inches.

Nov. 8: Boulder Reservoir in Northern Washoe County: 1,390 rainbow fingerlings, 2.6 inches.

Nov. 8: Squaw Creek Reservoir north of Gerlach: 28,356 rainbow fingerlings, 2.6 inches.

Today, Nov. 15, is the date that the State of California closes most of its Sierra streams, creeks and rivers to fishing for the 2007 fishing season. Those waters will not re-open to fishing again until the last Saturday in April of 2008.
