Steelhead fishing has been slow in the Willamette Valley, and the McKenzie is no different.?? However, our recent rains should dramatically help options for the future, stay tuned!
Should you champ it out, an 8 mm bead or Pink Glo-Bug should be your "fly" of choice. You're better off cashing in your "free-card" at work for an extra day of fishing, and heading over the mountain to a place called the Deschutes, or even further east to the GR!!!
