Hatches of PMDs, March Browns and a few spring time caddis are happening. Look for Salmonflies any day. Anglers getting out on the water early in the mornings can find a few fish eating small midge patterns in #20. This is such a great time of year to fish this river! The Power House #2 Riffle is in full effect! Expect to share the water, but also expect to find a couple fish either on dry flies or small black midge patterns. Right now is a good time to throw big Salmon Fly dries suspending a small #18 nymph. Lower Hat: Rim Rock Ranch (530) 335-7114; The Fly Shop (530) 222-3555
