Willow Lake - Brighton , UT

Willow Lake near Brighton offers remote alpine fishing for wild brook trout in a beautiful mountain setting. Accessible only by a 1.5-mile hike, this lake provides solitude and clean water at over 8,700 feet elevation.

Brook trout are small but plentiful, often 8–12 inches, and readily hit dry flies like Elk Hair Caddis or Adams in the evening. Nymphs and small spinners also produce, especially near the inlet.
