Kaysville Ponds - Kaysville, UT

Lake Information

Fish Species: Rainbow Trout, Bluegill
Kaysville City Park features multiple small ponds totaling about 8 acres stocked with rainbow trout each spring and fall. Fish average 10–12 inches and bite well on PowerBait, salmon eggs, or small spinners.

In spring, trout action is fast—but trout dart as water warms. Bluegill, sunfish, and occasional bass remain catchable through summer via floats with worms or light tackle.

The ponds are wheelchair-accessible, surrounded by paved paths, benches, shelters, playgrounds, and restrooms. Only shore fishing is permitted.

In all, Kaysville Ponds provides calm, family‑friendly fishing in a well-maintained park setting. It’s a favorite for neighborhood anglers and families seeking stress‑free fishing close to home.
