There is actually a recorded flow coming from Lake Tahoe now at Tahoe City, 1.2 CFS! Current flows are great right now and with the warmer temps returning next weekduring the day it will beis a great time to get out and fish the Big Truckee! Today it will be rain and then turning into snow on Thursday and Friday and temps will be cold. Good days here are 4-5 fish for experienced anglers and maybe 1-2 fish for those not familar with the Truckee's picky trout. From Glenshire down to State Line it has been pretty good for this time of year and the trout being caught look healthy. As we move on to March look for spawning Rainbows and try to avoid them at times so they can do their thing. Streamers, Baetis, Midge and aquatic worm patterns are the patterns you'll have the best results with. It's going to be very cold this week so dress accordingly!
