Fishing was fair on the Nestucca last weekend, despite the cold and rain, some bright fish were caught. There should be good numbers of broodstock hatchery fish and wild steelhead throughout the system. There’s some heavy rains predicted for Wednesday, but the Nestucca should drop back into decent shape for end of the week and weekend. Float fishing jigs, beads, or bait, drift fishing, nymphing, and swinging flies or spinners are all good techniques.

Three Rivers should be in decent condition this coming weekend after the rains predicted for Wednesday. There are fish throughout the system.
