Boaters at Willow Beach are catching striped bass in the 10-pound range using jerkbaits fished on down riggers. Shore anglers are filling their 5-fish limit of rainbow trout with PowerBait, night crawlers or meal worms. Fishing on Mohave has been slow and will likely remain that way with the cooler temperatures forecasted for this week. Anglers have reported that pencil poppers are catching stripers at the south end of the reservoir. Largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing has been slow.
