Greetings from Lake Murray. Boy oh Boy is it hot! This is simply not the weather we want for good fishing. You must get out early with the opening bell and you gotta go deep. Actually the sundown bite has been better than the sun up. Go deep from 7-8 pm with live red worms or night crawlers and you should get something. We had a 3 pound bass caught at the time over the weekend on a night crawlers. Strangely enough there have been reports of some trout being caught as well in Mid August. Anything is possible in 2020.
