Emerging vegetation is starting to show along the edges. Those casting from shore may have better luck when using weedless hooks in the shallow water. Bass and crappies are hitting flies and plastics at Haymeadow and Adams-McGill. Rainbow trout are biting across most of the reservoirs and are taking poppers and PowerBait in the mornings. Dacey Reservoir is limited to artificial lures, so flies and Super Dupers are recommended there.
