Because Stampede is stocked heavily with Kokanee, the kokanee bite is still good throughout the day. Anglers can find Kokanee anywhere from 25-60 feet deep. Anglers are getting consistent results in front of the boat launch, island, or dam. Anglers fishing for trout are having success using speedy shiners, small rapalas, and crocodile spoons. With the warm temperatures still here, the bass bite is still good as well. Anglers can find bass near any of the rocky points using crawdad patterns and small jigs.
Stampede Reservoir is currently at 38% capacity.
