Report: The storms this next week should do great things for this river adding cold water the the system. Expect it to come up and drop back in after the projected deluge on Sunday. The tributaries will add color, so go high up past Dunsmuir if need be. There are definitely October Caddis coming off, swinging pupa patterns should be on your technique checklist. Also, Blue Wing Olives and midges will continue to be good producers, Sweet Peas, Zebra Midges, S&Ms are working well in the mornings. Some fish will chase sculpin patterns too. This pulse in flows will begin drawing the big 'bows up from Shasta Lake.
