Striper action is still intense below Davis Dam with 2- to 5-pound stripers taking anchovy chunks and trout swimbaits. Anglers are catching catfish and stripers from shore using anchovies fished off the bottom below Big Bend State Recreation Area. Trout are taking PowerBait and night crawlers.
