The Overton Arm has been busy with anglers catching crappies and striped bass. Stripers also are active in the Government Wash area. The fish are chasing swimbaits and hitting anchovies fished from shore. Black bass are in pre-spawn mode. Anglers are catching the fish near cove edges and rocky points while using deep diving crankbaits and drop shot rigs. Callville Bay Launch Ramp is now closed due to low water levels.
