Trout anglers reported some real toads with rainbows between five and ten pounds eating minijigs, dough bait, and nightcrawlers. The numbers of trout were lower last week, but the quality of fish was amazing. Bass anglers reported the Spring bite kicking in full gear with largemouth going for smaller fluke style baits, drop shot Roboworms, and jigs. One of our local contacts reported a 40-fish day with Senkos earlier this week. A few crankbait bass were also reported. Crappie anglers scored limits while using Gent Bent Minijigs, live shiners, and small swimbaits, and catfish ate dip bait, cut baits, and chicken liver.
