Only boats with a single electric motor are allowed on Knoll Lake. No gas-powered motors. The limit is 4 trout. Rainbow trout will start to move deeper in the lake as the temperature rises. Bait like worms and PowerBait fished on the bottom will work the best. For fly anglers, the cicadas are starting to appear within the watershed. A dry and dropper combo may be worth trying with a prince nymph, pheasant tail, or black Simi-seal leech, as your bottom fly would be a good place to start. Be cautious of monsoon storms as the Mogollon Rim is notorious for lightning strikes. Rainbow trout are scheduled to be stocked this week.
