The Nehalem is predicted to blow out on Wednesday and will probably take a while to drop into decent fishing condition, at least in the lower river. The upper river may fish sooner. Check river levels before heading out. Once it comes back into shape there are good catch-and-release opportunities for wild steelhead throughout the basin, and it is in the peak of the run.
