The Upper Deschutes as of this week is now closed at the headwaters down to the bridge on 40 road due to the Little Lava Fire. If this does change in the near future, it should still be fishing well but it does close September 30th for the Season so I don't foresee anyone getting up that high for the rest of the season. That being said, you can still access The Upper Deschutes stretch from Wickiup Reservoir and down stream but that is very close to the level 3 evacuation zone so please check before heading that way.
