Water Conditions: ??Good. The lake level is good, although still some weeds. Some nice fish are being caught suspending midges.

Rumor has it that they aren't going to stock McCumber as much this year, which will probably mean less fishing pressure.

Fishing Conditions & Hatches: McCumber can have some great hatches in the springtime, midges and callibaetis.

Flies: ??Poxyback Callibaetis Nymph 18, Chromies #18, B.H. Brassies 18 - 20, Crystal Buggers 10-12 Beaded Flashback P.T. Nymph 16 Bead Head Leeches 8 Spotlight Callibaetis 16 Poxyback Callibaetis nymph 16-18 Damsel nymphs and adults * Hare's Ear * Mercer Midgeling 18-20.

The Fly Shop's Tips: ??You'll want a small boat/pram, float tube, pontoon or a guide to access the lake. Give us a call for details. (Gas motors are not allowed).
