Water Conditions:
Great the flow is 45 CFS. This is a permanent flow required to be maintained by LADWP. Water is clear and cold.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches:
Excellent although we are getting reports of stinging nettles. Wear pants! Take water along as it is very hot these days.
Recommended Flies:
DRIES:
Yellow Humpy #18, Stimiulator #16, Green Humpy #16
NYMPHS:
Red Copper John #18, Western Coachman #16

Hot Creek: Despite the higher flows fishing is excellent on Hot Creek
San Joaquin River: Road is open to the San Joaquin, but it's not quite fishable yet.
Crowley Lake: The fish are still moving around at Lake Crowley so you have to search them out
Owens River: The Upper Owens flows are making the fishing tough, use nymphs and get them down where the fish are

Crowley Lake: Fly Fishing is very good at Lake Crowley but you should be there early
Owens River: Upper Owens is tough fishing right now
Owens River: The best fishing right now might be at the Owens River Gorge
Owens River: As the flows decline the fishing is picking up on the Lower Owens
Bridgeport Reservoir: The fish at Bridgeport Reservoir seem to be near the Marina and the Dam
East Walker River (CA): East Walker River flows are very high and the fishing has gotten tougher
