Water Conditions:
Road to the Lakes Basin is now open. Lots of snow still around and water temps 38-40F.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches:
Stripping streamers working best . . . deep dark and slow.
Recommended Flies:
Docs BH in Black, or Olive. Olive Matukas

for Thursday, June 16th, 2011Lake Mary: The road to Lake Mary & Lake George is now open
Hot Creek: Hot Creek Caddis hatches are in the afternoon, mornings are Gray Drakes and Yellow Sallies
Crowley Lake: Crowley Lake fish are on the move so the hot spots change
Owens River: The run off is beginning to affect fishing on the Upper Owens
Owens River: Flows at the Owens River Gorge are at 45 cfs
Owens River: The slower moving water is good fishing on the Lower Owens
Bridgeport Reservoir: As the weather warms the fishing is improving at the Bridgeport Reservoir
East Walker River (CA): High flows (595 cfs range) is making fishing on the East Walker difficult

for Friday, June 10th, 2011Lake Mary: Road Still not plowed, but the ice has melted
Hot Creek: Excellent Hatches on Hot Creek
Crowley Lake: The water is still too cold for the fish to be real active on Lake Crowley
Owens River: The Upper Owens river is getting more consistent hatches, but be sure to watch the flows
Owens River: Owens River Gorge may be the best fishing right now
Owens River: The flows are better on the Lower Owens and the fishing is good, look for the slower moving water
Bridgeport Reservoir: The fishing at Bridgeport Reservoir seems to be picking up as the weather warms
East Walker River (CA): The flows on the East Walker are making the fishing tough.
