The river is flowing up to 20 cubic feet per second (cfs) with small releases from Otter Creek Reservoir. Spring provides some of the year's best fishing. The Circle Valley Anglers fly shop reports afternoon hatches of midges and small black stoneflies. Fishing is fair to good with midge larvae, black hare's ears, small black stones, black and brown woolly buggers, and brown and olive zonkers.
