October is one of the best months of the year to fish on Boulder Mountain. A variety of flies, small lures or jigs can produce well. If you're fishing with bait, use natural baits like nightcrawlers or grasshoppers. If fishing is slow at one lake, move to another. Call the Quiet Fly Fisher fly shop at 435-616-2319 for up-to-date conditions and fishing reports.
