Website
The ice is unstable. The edges have melted and left a six-foot gap of slushy water between the shore and harder ice. The ice in the center is about six inches thick with 1.5 inches of slush on top. Because ice thickness varies -- and can change quickly in warmer weather -- please use extreme caution and common sense. We don't recommend venturing out on Holmes at this time. Please remember to show respect and pick up your trash at this privately owned waterbody. And don't forget to obtain your Walk-in Access authorization number before visiting the reservoir.
