Attractor beadhead nymphs, egg patterns, and rubber leg stones, are producing good numbers in runs below riffles. On cloudy, rainy day’s, look for BWO hatches going off midday. For swinging flies use herniators, skunks, and assassins with beadhead trailer on warm days when steelhead is aggressive. Be sure to dress appropriately as it will be cold until the afternoon. Wading access above the I5 bridge on the south side. Cover water to find the fish, and the best access is with a pontoon or drift boat at these flows.
