Perfect spring weather.

Had a taste of the 60’s this weekend, man, felt good. Little cooler this week, but not in the 30’s. Wind is a big thing in the spring, just gotta watch out for that in the afternoons.

Pretty good fishing in the Truckee River. Flows are pretty mellow for spring. Just over 600 cubes here, and on down the river. Last year they were about 1,200 at this time. Hopefully, we got water in the pipe come fall.

Nymph up on them, with stones, baetis, worms, eggs, the usual spring stuff. Streamer fish if you want the hero shot. Maybe you’ll get lucky and have a dry fly day, if you get some overcast. Springs a great time to be on the river.
