Shore anglers are seeing an increase in striper activity from the Willow Beach fishing pier. Slow retrievals of shad- or trout-pattern lures are tempting the fish. Boaters are having success upriver when trolling a variety of soft plastic and jointed swimbaits. Black bass are showing a preference for soft plastic worms and craws in brown or green. Striper boils are being reported near Katherine Landing and Davis Dam.
