Stampede reservoir still has a good kokanee bite near the dam in 80 to 100 feet of water. Anglers should try using pink and purple as their bait colors. The next couple of weeks are some of the best time to do some kokanee fishing at Stampede Reservoir because the fish start to color up. Shore anglers looking for trout should fish off the dam in 25 feet of water using live bait or kastmasters.
