Best trout fishing is in the early mornings or evenings with water temps peaking in late July and early August. Fish are averaging 16″- 18″. Worms, PowerBait and spinners are enticing fish, as well as a variety of woolly buggers, balanced leeches, and nymphs for the fly anglers. Limit is 5 trout. Bass fishing has picked up with the warmer weather. Crankbaits and soft plastics are working well for black bass, and anglers are reporting wiper hitting topwater lures in 8 to 10 feet of water. Starting July 1st, anglers may keep one black bass measuring 15 inches or longer.
