The water level remained at 15 percent of capacity, and anglers reported fair fishing for all species. Largemouth anglers used wintertime finesse techniques in 15 to 50 feet of water to fool bass up to eight pounds. Drop shot, Ned rigs, and jigs all worked for bites with a slow retrieve. An eight-pound bass was reported by an angler using a black and blue jig with a Big Bites crawdad trailer. Vertical spoons fooled fish as deep as 50 feet. Catfish picked up dip baits, and garlic scented nightcrawlers on the Carolina rig.
