At Lake Mohave/Willow Beach (report courtesy of Western Outdoor News), slow trolling big swimbaits and larger jerkbaits is turning up the occasional striped bass flirting with double digits. Catfish popped up and started to shine out of nowhere. Dip-baits and cut baits are working for those fish. Trout are stocked at the marina every week, and the bite has been good on floating baits, jigs and spoons. They’re also reason enough to have a heavy rig on deck with a big trout-imitating swimbait, because of the opportunity for big stripers.
