The Trinity River in the Douglas city area was at 1,600 cfs this morning and dropping, the water color was a perfect steelhead green color, at these flows it makes it a challenge to find fish in certain spots, the flows are dropping fast, by Sunday and next it will be perfect to find a big winter steelhead. 
 

both fly fishing and spin fishing has been productive, fly fishing you will want a number #6 blk pats rubber leg. With a hard or soft bead just below that in orange or peach color. 

spin fishing- all you need is properly cured salmon or steelhead eggs in orange or pink color, side drift good eggs and hang on!!!
