Fishing reports are important, and fishing changes year after year to a point, but right now the last 20 days fishing at McCloud, Shasta, Siskiyou and Whiskeytown are historically what they should be this time of year and far from a bad choice. 

All 4  of these bodies of water are kicking out great fish and not one is a bad choice. All the lakes are full and producing good bass, kokanee, brown an rainbow trout. The fish are mainly 50 feet down up to surface and certainly for the Trout, trolling a variety dodgers lures an bait combinations are producing.
