Chuck Fields at the Topaz Lake Marina (775-266-3550) reported: Not a lot of people out here since the Topaz Lodge burned, because there is no place to eat.

There have been some limits caught, but most of them are out of boats, trolling with nightcrawlers. The boats are spending an entire day on the lake to catch a limit. One boat had 10 fish with five of them being over 2.5 pounds. Shore fishing is real slow, with an occasional fish, here and there.
