As we enter fall, Crooked River is poised to deliver some of the best fishing conditions of the season. For dry fly enthusiasts, Mahogany Duns are starting to make an appearance, but don't overlook PMDS, BWO’s and Caddis; especially tan Elk Hair. In terms of nymphing, Perdigons, jig Napoleon, and two bits are still getting great results. It’s also a great time to fish with purple haze for dry flies. Flows have come down too, but probably won’t drop any more.
