Exciting news from Lake Mohave! Local angler Raul Gonzalez made an impressive catch while fishing from shore. Raul landed a massive striped bass weighing 20.28 pounds and measuring 38 ¾ inches. Using a lure, he reeled in this beauty just upriver from Katherine Landing. Raul mentioned that it was too windy to take his boat out on the lake, making this his biggest shore catch to date. Congratulations, Raul, and thank you for sharing your story!

Meanwhile, along the Colorado River, it’s trout season. The Willow Beach Hatchery is stocking the area with beautiful rainbow trout, providing great opportunities for both local and visiting anglers to catch their limit. Below Davis Dam, the daily bag limit for trout is five.
