The Crooked River is now above 1800 cfs and has been for the past few days making it a low priority on the fishing list. Chances out there are slim but if you do decide to head out there similar flies from last week should work. Effective fly patterns include Firestarter perdigons, BWO perdigons, and scuds in tan, orange, or green. Experimenting with depth and weight adjustments can help anglers locate fish in deeper pools and runs, essential if you plan on braving the increased flows.
